Our Myth 03:16
I can read it in your eyes Our myth is growing dim Soon you’ll forget everything What can I do but step aside? Goodness knows I’ve got my pride I’ve got my pride But don’t you remember that just One ripe kiss between you and me Contains all joy and misery Everything you’re looking for Is right here, look no more
2.
I wake up and it all comes back, In the early, morning blue Remembering you And I what if I can’t let go The life I knew I’m thinking of I’m still in the arms Of days that passed long ago But sometimes all I know Is forgotten Briefly, while I sleep Briefly, while I sleep But I wake up and it all comes back, in the early, morning blue remembering you

Pawnshop 05:37
there used to be a time when he loved me when he loved me and I can't let it go I used to sleep up in the clouds and nothing could take me down but I fall hard now when he comes around his mouth is a cold gem his lips are sorrow I cry when I'm kissing him his lips are sorrow and he makes me feel like a pawnshop he makes me feel like a pawnshop 'cause I know he's gonna take it all back when he's doing okay but right now just to be in someone's arms he'll give his heart away and for a little while he's mine for a little while he's mine but you know there used to be a time when he loved me when he loved and I can't let it go
4.
I wait for you to break the spell I'm under but you've been cast down too your face all painted blue and the briars twist and grow as we sleep beneath the snow and no one seems to mind two lovers lost, two lovers lost even I've forgotten where we meant to go I dreamt you came to me green as summer to revive me with your kiss to revive me with your kiss I wait for you to break the spell I'm under but you've been cast down too I guess you're waiting too
5.
I fell into a darkness and suddenly all my fearful wonder took hold of me now I'm always looking over my shoulder I'm always looking over my shoulder braced for a blow but you know I'm already down Even all the birds saw what I could not I followed all the breadcrumbs right to this spot
6.
Isn't there a place to hide anymore isn't there a lock on this door isn't there time to kill like way back when weren't we happier then now the wind is high and it howls through my eyes in my head I see endless skies isn't there anything that I can say to make you go away isn't there time to kill like way back when weren't we happier then
7.
through a rose-tinted window on a train I watch people and time and the dusty terrain going by, going by this track takes me back home and I'm with the one I love but I still feel alone I don't know why, I don't know why

Tower Crane 05:23
The world turns and the moon climbs a tower crane casting shadows while evening rain drums the tin roofs of a shanty town they'll soon tear down they've traveled north to build buildings for pittance-pay along the shores where the palm trees sway and pink flamingos land upon the blue sweeping view wood smoke and voices they wander up from the fires each night where the men take their sweet tea by the firelight silhouettes smooth the edges of a new skyline while I tend my young jasmine vine that coils 'round the rail of my balcony from where I see the rooftops of all my neighbors that I'll never meet people say women shouldn't greet the lonely men who labor in the sun and I've greeted none
10.
I've seen better days but how could I ever say that this is not enough no blame, and no praise just this grey morning and a light rain falling and I may never mend my broken heart I have always been troubled by this longing for what, I don't know
